Therapy offerings
Welcome to my therapy practice. I provide therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, chronic stress, and burnout —especially when these patterns are shaped by early stress or trauma. My office is located in Reno, Nevada, where I offer in-person therapy as well as online therapy for clients across Nevada. Therapy focuses on both understanding and regulation, helping you move beyond survival-based coping toward greater balance, clarity, and ease.
My focus is to create a safe and supportive space where we work together to foster balance, fulfillment, and lasting growth. I’m here to guide you in achieving well-being without compromising your mental health.
Individual therapy
30 to 55 minutes per session
We will meet one on one either in person or via Zoom. This meeting could be weekly or bi-weekly based on your needs. Sessions are confidential. We will process your feelings, emotions and problems. By making use of evidence-based interventions, we will discuss good coping skills and effective strategies to help you cope with challenges in life. We will also track treatment outcomes which will enable us to ensure treatment effectiveness. Through our work together, you will learn skills to heal, adapt and feel empowered and motivated. You will also be able to foster healthy relationship with yourself and others, lead a life that is true to you, find meaning and purpose in everyday life.
Anxiety and perfectionism therapy
This work focuses on slowing down long-standing patterns of overcontrol, self-pressure, and mental urgency. Therapy supports greater awareness, flexibility, and emotional regulation, helping you notice when anxiety or perfectionism are driving your decisions rather than serving you.
Sessions create space to explore how these patterns developed, how they continue to operate, and what supports a steadier internal experience. The goal is not to eliminate motivation or responsibility, but to relate to achievement in healthier, more balanced ways—so effort feels intentional rather than exhausting.
Integrative therapy approaches
My work is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from both evidence-based and holistic approaches. I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and support meaningful, values-based action, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety and self-criticism. I also use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help the brain process distressing or overwhelming experiences that continue to impact emotional and nervous system responses. Mindfulness-based interventions cultivate awareness and present-moment grounding, while somatic and nervous-system-informed approaches address how stress and trauma are held in the body. Together, these approaches foster emotional insight, mind–body regulation, and lasting, sustainable change.
Trauma-informed therapy
Many emotional patterns are shaped by early stress, relational experiences, or environments that required heightened responsibility, alertness, or self-reliance. Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how these experiences can influence anxiety, perfectionism, and the nervous system well into adulthood.
This approach emphasizes safety, pacing, and compassion. Therapy supports awareness, regulation, and integration rather than re-experiencing or forcing change.
